CREATIVE PROCESS
The creative process of each piece started with a conversation between me (Sivan Arbel) and the dancers about life, how we feel as performers and artists, and why we chose to do what we do.
It was amazing to see how every conversation took its own path and planted a seed to our creation.

“WHAT IS DANCE TO YOU?”
This is the first question that Israeli Vocalist-Composer-Arranger-Band Leader-Educator Sivan Arbel asked me.
From that, she made a song and I.. made a dance.
She made songs getting inspiration from each dancer.
And dancers got inspired from her words to create a dance.
When Sivan met Aika she totally fell in love with her energy! She was so inspired by how she immerses herself in the moment through dance. When Aika dances, Sivan experience freedom, playfulness and joy, which is why she decided to create music that could accompany that energy. Sivan explains: “my goal with “Free Spirit” is to connect every viewer to their personal free bird that lays within themselves.”

これら全ての作品において、人生や、パフォーマー/アーティストとしてどう思うか、またなぜ自分がこの道を歩むことを選んだのかについて、私（Sivan Arbel）と各ダンサーで話し合う所から、創作は始まりました。

「あなたにとってダンスとは？」
これが、イスラエル出身ボーカリスト/作曲家/編曲家/バンドリーダー/教育者であるSivan Arbelが私に聞いた質問であり、全てはここから始まりました。
そこから彼女は曲を作り、私はダンスを作る。。。
彼女がダンサーからインスピレーション得ることで曲を作り、
そしてダンサーもまた彼女の言葉からインスピレーションを受け、ダンスを創作する。
Sivan Arbelはアイカに始めて会った時、彼女のエネルギーにゾッコンになった。 彼女がダンスを通してその瞬間に入り込む姿には、Sivanにとってインスピレーションの宝庫であった。
アイカが踊ると、彼女は自由や遊び心や喜びを感じ、そしてそれが、そのエネルギーを表す曲を作ろうと思ったきっかけとなった。
